TORONTO: Peg + Cat, a new animated show for preschoolers, is being produced and distributed by 9 Story Entertainment, which is set to showcase the title at this year's MIPTV.
Peg + Cat follows the adventures of a young girl and her feline pet. The two characters travel together and solve problems using basic math skills. The 80x11-minute series is created by Jennifer Oxley (Little Bill, The Wonder Pets!) and Billy Aronson (Rent, Postcards from Buster). It is being developed in partnership with The Fred Roger Company for PBS Kids.
