TORONTO: 9 Story Media Group has secured multiple sales for the preschool series Guess How Much I Love You: The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare, including scoring a slot in the Middle East on JCC.
The 52x11-minute series is also headed to Minimax Chello in Central Europe and RUV in Iceland. The preschool show comes from Australia's SLR Productions along with Germany's KiKA and ARD as well as ABC4Kids of Australia. Based on a set of best-selling books written by Sam McBratney, the animated series was recently greenlit for a second season.
The new round of sales, secured following a successful MIPCOM outing, comes in addition to previous agreements with such broadcasters as Disney Junior (U.S.), Nickelodeon (U.K., France), TV 2 (Norway), Disney (Spain, Italy), Yle (Finland) and Hop! (Israel). Entertainment One distributes DVDs for the series in Canada and the U.S., and NBCUniversal distributes DVDs globally, excluding Australia and New Zealand.
