9 Story Entertainment and YTV begin production on new adventure series Cache Craze

Toronto, Canada  – September  18, 2012 – 9 Story Entertainment’s new adventure series Cache Craze (10 x 60’) based on the worldwide phenomenon of geocaching, has been commissioned by Corus Entertainment’s kids and family network YTV. The series has started production in Toronto and is scheduled to premiere on YTV in Spring 2013.

Cache Craze is the ultimate competition show for adventurers of all ages who are ready to face insane challenges while they battle for amazing prizes. Hosted by comedy star Ryan Horwood (Monster WarriorsHowie Do It), the series is a modern-day family treasure hunt.

Geocaching is a popular GPS-aided treasure hunting game where teams search for a cache hidden by another player. There are over 1.3 million Geocaches hidden around the world, in over 100 countries, across seven continents, and over five million (and rapidly growing) active Geocachers are searching for them.
