The first season premiered on the network in 2014, across Latin America. The second season (52 x 11 minutes) takes the total number of episodes to 104 x 11 minutes.
Produced by 9 Story Media Group for YTV Canada, the series has also been licensed to Cartoon Network’s Boomerang (U.S.), Kix (U.K.), ABC (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), TG4 (Ireland), Canal+ and Family (France) and Super RTL (Germany). The series has also been acquired by international Disney Channels in Central & Eastern Europe, Asia, South Korea, Indian Subcontinent, Japan, Middle East & Africa, Israel and Benelux.
Numb Chucks is an animated comedy about two half-witted woodchuck vigilantes, Dilweed and Fungus, who use their non-existent kung-fu skills to protect the lives of all the citizens in Ding-A-Ling Springs, whether they need it or not! Get ready Ding-a-Ling Springs, you’re about to be Numb Chucked!
Numb Chucks is the winner of multiple awards including two 2016 Canadian Screen Awards for Best Performance in an Animated Program and Best Writing in an Animated Program, a 2016 ACTRA Award and a 2016 Writer’s Guild of Canada Award.
