9 Story acquires animated preschool series Monkey See Monkey Do for international distribution

Toronto, Canada – August 27, 2013 – 9 Story Enterprises, the international distribution arm of 9 Story Entertainment, has acquired the second season of the 3D animated preschool series Monkey See Monkey Do (26 x 11’), which will include a new interactive web experience for preschoolers.  The series is co-produced by Smartoonz (Israel) and Title Entertainment (Canada) and is currently in production for a second season with TVO.

The successful first season (26 x 7’), which will also now be distributed by 9 Story, was previously licensed to Playhouse Disney LATAM, PBS Kids – Sprout, France5, TVO, TVA, Knowledge Network, Jim Jam EMEA, Asia Television, POD Worldwide, Cartoon Network Italy, Television New Zealand, Hop!, EBS and S4C1.

Monkey See Monkey Do is an animated preschool series that follows our host, Monkey, and his friend Parrot as they learn about friendship, animals and the importance of movement.  In each episode, Monkey invites children at home to have fun imitating the actions of animals while learning about their natural habitats through engaging song and dance. In addition, the Monkey’s Jungle Adventure online game will take children on further journeys through Monkey’s world to meet and learn about his animal friends.
