Toronto, Canada – November 7, 2016 – 9 Story Media Group is pleased to announce that it has secured a number of deals across Latin America for its kids and family content. Almost 500 episodes have been licensed to broadcasters across the territory, with agreements spanning Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, and the U.S. (Hispanic).
Canal Once (Mexico) has acquired the first season of the Emmy® award winning preschool series Peg + Cat, the second season of preschool favourite Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood and the second season of the hit animated series Camp Lakebottom. Canal 22, also in Mexico, licensed the first season of the popular animated program Wild Kratts as well as of the live action science series Finding Stuff Out.
In South America, TNU (Uruguay) has picked up the first season of Peg + Cat as well as the second season of Wild Kratts while CNTV (Chile) has also licensed first season episodes of Peg + Cat.
Multi-territory SomosTV has acquired Meteor and the Mighty Monster Trucks and the first and second seasons of Monkey See Monkey Do. Both deals cover the U.S. Hispanic market, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean Basin.
