Produced by 9 Story Media Group, with animation by the award-winning studio Brown Bag Films, Dee & Friends in Oz, launched globally across Netflix, on February 5 of this year. Dee & Friends in Oz was created by Emmy-winner Angela C. Santomero, the creator of beloved shows Blue’s Clues and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. The series was developed by Emmy-nominated writers Halcyon Person (Karma’s World and Blaze and the Monster Machines) and Keion Jackson (Karma’s World and Sesame Street); and directed by Declan Doyle (Get Rolling with Otis and Doc McStuffins). Dee & Friends in Oz, inspired by L. Frank Baum’s classic tale, is a musical adventure series about Dorothy “Dee” Davis — a girl writing a brand-new story of Oz where every kid has the power inside themselves to be a hero.

The Artios Awards winner will be announced February 12 during galas at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, the Edison Ballroom in New York, and White City House in London.
