9 Story Media group is thrilled to share that one of its newest 2D animated series Let’s Go, Bananas! has won the Kidscreen Award for Best Inclusivity in the Preschool Programming category at this year’s awards!

Let’s Go, Bananas! was developed and produced by 9 Story Media Group and animated by Oscar-nominated studio Brown Bag Films, out of its Toronto location. The series is a feel-good celebration of the realities of family life; messy, joyful, chaotic, wonderful, and of course, totally BANANAS!

Let’s Go, Bananas! was created by award-winning writer and producer Tim Bain, creator of action-comedy series Kangaroo Beach and writer on hit children’s series including Bluey, PJ MasksThomas the Tank Engine and Aardman’s Epic Adventures of Morph. The show is inspired by Tim’s own family and features a community of three sweet and silly animal families, the Bananas (gorillas), Crockers (crocodiles) and Tiger-Zelles (tigers and gazelles). Let’s Go, Bananas! is also written by Tim and directed by Brown Bag Films’ own Matt Mitchell (Let’s Go LunaRosie’s Rules).

The 2025 Kidscreen Awards celebrated the year’s best work in children’s television and digital media at a ceremony hosted by comedian and television personality Jessi Cruickshank and held during Kidscreen Summit in San Diego.
