We are thrilled to share that Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum has been nominated for a 2021 Annie Award, in the category of Best TV/Media – Preschool for the hour-long special ‘I am Madam President‘!
The nominations for the 48th Annie Awards—which recognize the year’s best in the field of animation—were announced on Wednesday, March 4, by The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood.
In ‘I Am Madam President’, Xavier’s sister Yadina Riddle decides to add a female president to a museum exhibit. Shocked to discover that no girl has ever been President of the United States, Yadina goes on a journey to meet some of history’s boldest women including Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Amelia Earhart, and Sally Ride. From those heroes, Yadina learns that just because something’s never been done before, doesn’t mean you can’t do it! Even if that something is becoming the first female President of the United States!
The other nominees for Best TV/Media – Preschool include Buddi, Muppet Babies, Stillwater, and The Adventures of Paddington.
A huge congratulations to our Xavier Riddle crew, and all the other 48th Annual Annie Award nominees.
The Annie Awards will be presented by ASIFA-Hollywood during a virtual ceremony on Friday, April 16.
