This month 9 Story Media Group and Brown Bag Films Toronto gathered at Queen Street West’s the Drake Hotel, for its annual summer party!
Both the main floor and rooftop patio set the stage for the private event, where guests were greeted with delectable hors d’oeuvres – sushi, fresh fruits, french fries and more, a hot commodity as trays were wiped clean almost immediately. Dinner was complete with a Chinese style buffet and an open bar, the scene looking more and more like a typical night out in Toronto. Crowds lining up for drinks, socializing and playing games, all while the talented Randee Savage, 9 Story’s resident DJ, played a set list that had party-goers on their feet.
Vince Commisso, President & CEO , welcomed the crowd to a well-deserved celebration and thanked the team for their dedication and hard work throughout the year.
Ending his speech on a high note, Vince announced the winner of this year’s raffle, none other than Cory Bobiak – Director and member of Toronto’s Creative Leadership Team.
“I’m grateful that 9 story treats us to these functions every year. It’s definitely something we all look forward to. It’s wonderful to get a chance to see everyone relax and enjoy each other’s company outside of work.” – Cory Bobiak
As for how he intends to spend his winnings,
“Winning the raffle was a giant bonus this year! I’m either going to show up with fancy new shoes or take our crew out to celebrate delivering our first Locked Leica!”
It was truly a fun night, one that wouldn’t have been possible without Michelle Gallant, Social Committee Chair at 9 Story Media Group and Party Planner Extraordinaire.
