Leading European Entertainment Network Acquires All Television Rights to

Animated Comedy Series for Germany and German-Speaking Europe

Toronto, Canada (February 9, 2011) – Multi-award-winning production and distribution company 9 Story Entertainment has signed an agreement with SUPER RTL for the broadcast of 9 Story’s proprietary animated comedy series, Almost Naked Animals, it was announced by Vince Commisso, President and CEO.

The deal grants to SUPER RTL all television rights including pay, free and cable, for Germany and German-speaking Europe. The series is expected to debut in January 2011.

“We are pleased to be partnering with SUPER RTL, which is certainly the most important player in the marketplace for kids’ television in Germany,” said Commisso.

Almost Naked Animals (52 x 11 min) is an irreverent, fast-paced series featuring free-spirited animals in their underwear that run a beach-front hotel like kids at a summer camp – and do their best to make each day more fun than the last. Lead dog and hotel manager, Howie, who has the attention span of an 11-year old in a video arcade, heads the dysfunctional but extremely humorous ensemble cast.

“We at SUPER RTL are extremely pleased to be the new home for Almost Naked Animals in German speaking Europe,” said Carsten Goettel, Programme director SUPER RTL. The show has everything our audience likes to watch: great humor, funny stories and unique loveable characters with a touch of weirdness.”
