Have you heard the great news? The finalists in the Cynopsis Best of the Best & Rising Star Awards have been announced and we’re thrilled to share that Blue’s Clues & You (Nick Jr.) has been nominated in the Best Preschool Series category for the second year in a row!
The Cynopsis Best of the Best Awards salute excellence in national TV programming, marketing campaigns, people, tech and more. The awards recognize outstanding achievement across platforms and overall merit in social good, social justice, kids programming, as well as work-from-home initiatives.
Blue’s Clues & You is an interactive preschool series about a puppy named Blue and her friend Josh. In each episode, Blue invites the Home Viewer to join her and Josh on a clue-led adventure to solve a puzzle – which can only be done with the Home Viewers help! While searching for Blue’s pawprints, Josh, Blue and the Home Viewer help their friends through story-based learning games, playing to learn by counting graham crackers, “skidooing” to outer space or singing about healthy snacks. Throughout every episode, the Home Viewer is empowered, challenged and inspired to continually interact with Josh and Blue to figure out Blue’s Clues!
Blue’s Clues & You! is produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, Calif., as well as 9 Story’s Creative Affairs division and award-winning animation studio Brown Bag Films. The series is co-created by 9 Story Chief Creative Officer Angela C. Santomero and Traci Paige Johnson. Blue’s Clues & You! is currently airing weekdays at 11 am (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. Original short-form content and full-length episodes of the series are available now on NickJr.com and the Nick Jr. App. Episodes are also available on Nick Jr. On Demand and Download-To-Own services.
We would also like to extend our congratulations to Arielle Reed, Associate Producer at Fred Rogers Productions, for receiving a Rising Star Award for their work on Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood. The Cynposis Rising Star Awards honors stand-out performers, innovators, and emerging leaders in the media industry – 35 years old or younger – who have the passion, talent and creativity to take the industry to new heights.
The Cynopsis Best of the Best & Rising Star Awards will be celebrated through a virtual event on the 16th February 2023.
