Coming Up: Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival 2022

We are delighted to share that Karma’s World is coming to the 20th Annual Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival, running from August 5-13!

Our Netflix Original series, from visionary Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, will be part of an afternoon screening and panel discussion at this year’s MVAAFF titled ‘Welcome to Karma’s World.’ Moderated by author and activist Marley Dias, the speaking session will explore the new series and the importance of creating socially relevant programming for kids, with special panel guests 9 Story and Karma’s World Head Writer Halcyon Person, and the voice of Ms. Washington, the iconic Dawnn Lewis.

And that is not all, along with the afternoon screening and speaking session, there will also be a Karma’s World interactive tent with non-alcoholic “Karmosas”, a donut wall, coloring station, karaoke stage, photo booth, hairstyling demos, prizes and so much more!

Welcome to Karma’s World screening, followed by panel discussion, runs from 1:00pm – 2:30pm, on Wednesday, August 10.

This year’s MVAAFF takes place at the MV Performing Arts Center in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts. See the full festival itinerary here.
