Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Daniel Visits A New Neighborhood Is Now on PBS KIDS!

Daniel Tiger is heading out on a grr-ific new adventure in Daniel Visits a New Neighborhood, a summer movie special now airing in the United States on PBS KIDS (check your local listings), as well as playing for free on the PBS KIDS Video App and the PBS KIDS online video player.

In this exciting new feature, viewers will get to see Daniel Tiger take his first train ride away from home to visit his friend Juan Carlos in a new, unfamiliar neighborhood. Throughout this episode, we’ll see Daniel navigate the exciting and sometimes overwhelming feelings that affect kids while visiting new places, meeting new people, and encountering new things.

We hope that this adventure will be the perfect avenue for kids and families to explore the feelings that can come up when kids, like Daniel, travel for the first time and visit new people and places. Throughout the special, Daniel will have to use a lot of bravery to work through his shyness and begin to have fun! As a show that explores social-emotional strategies and practical life skills for kids, this special is exactly what Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is all about.
