Today we are extremely excited to share that Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Daniel Visits A New Neighborhood, has been chosen as a Common Sense Selection for Families by Common Sense Media!
At 9 Story, we are super passionate about creating content that is beneficial for kids. So, we’re thrilled to see Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood recognized by Common Sense Media, an organization that is doing great work in children’s media. A huge congratulations to our tigertastic partners at Fred Rogers Productions and our amazing Daniel Tiger crew.
Common Sense Media is a nonprofit organization that helps kids and families navigate modern media and make informed choices. From TV shows to podcasts to apps, Common Sense Media reviews all kinds of content and shares detailed findings that break down how kid-friendly it is. Their reviews work to clearly outline everything you’d need to know about a piece of content, including its plot, messaging, diverse representations, and tips for talking to your kids about the content.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Daniel Visits a New Neighborhood follows Daniel Tiger as he goes on his first trip outside of his own neighborhood to visit his pen pal Juan Carlos. Viewers will watch as Daniel navigates the exciting and sometimes overwhelming feelings that come up when we visit somewhere new, getting used to new people, places, and things.
