Produced by Trustbridge Entertainment, 9 Story Media Group, and Brown Bag Films, Dasher is a full-length CG-animated special inspired by the beloved picture book by Matt Tavares. Written and directed by Damien O’Connor, and executive produced by Trustbridge Entertainment’s Bob Higgins and Kim Howitt, and 9 Story’s Natalie Osborne and Alix Wiseman, this magical Christmas tale will be flying onto screens in 2026.

Synopsis: Dasher is a full-length CG holiday special inspired by Candlewick Press’ New York Times bestselling picture book “Dasher: How a Brave Little Doe Changed Christmas Forever,” from author and illustrator Matt Tavares. Written and directed by Damien O’Connor, it brings to life the magical story of Santa’s flying reindeer and how a brave little doe, Dasher, seizes her destiny.
We also want to extend our huge congratulations to Brown Bag Films on their greenlight for Sam Witch, a spellbinding new series from creator Mia Resella, and the season 2 announcement of RoboGobo.
