‘Let’s Go, Bananas!’ Swings onto Sky Kids in the UK

Audiences in the UK are in for some wild new adventures with Let’s Go, Bananas! launching today, November 11, on Sky Kids. Kids of all ages should get ready to laugh out loud, fall in love and go totally bananas for this charming new animated comedy. Let’s Go, Bananas! captures the zany chaos, heartfelt moments and hilarious adventures that make every family unique.

The series is created by Tim Bain (writer on Bluey, PJ Masks, and creator of Nick Jr’s Kangaroo Beach), based on his own joyfully bonkers family life. The show features a community of three sweet, silly animal families; gorilla girl Apple and her two Dads (the Bananas), crocodile twins Josh and Jamie and their single mother (the Crockers), and sisters Stellar and Piper and their tiger Mom and gazelle Dad (the Tiger-Zelles). 

From sibling rivalries and epic road trips to out-of-control pets and kid song earworms that get stuck in your head, each episode shows family life as it really is – messy, loud, unpredictable, but always filled with love. Bringing fresh, diverse families to the screen, Let’s Go, Bananas! offers something new, warm and relatable for all sorts of families. 

Developed and produced by 9 Story Media Group and animated by its award-winning studio Brown Bag Films Toronto, the series is directed by Matt Mitchell (Let’s Go Luna,Rosie’s Rules). 

Let’s Go, Bananas! follows three sweet, silly, diverse families who share each other’s lives, loves, triumphs, and tantrums. Each episode features a funny, relatable story starring the three fabulous families; gorilla girl Apple and her two Dads (the Bananas), crocodile twins Josh and Jamie and their single mother (the Crockers), and sisters Stellar and Piper and their tiger Mom and gazelle Dad (the Tiger-Zelles). Let’s Go, Bananas! was created by award-winning writer and producer Tim Bain, creator of action-comedy series Kangaroo Beach and writer on hit children’s series including Bluey, PJ Masks, Thomas the Tank Engine and Epic Adventures of Morph.
