Luna’s Postcards Around the World Launches on PBSKIDS.org and PBS KIDS App

By March 25, 2021News

Big news for our Luna fans!

Luna’s Postcards Around the World, the latest game based on the Let’s Go Luna series, is now live and ready to play on PBS KIDS.org and the PBS KIDS app.

In the new game kids get to explore and learn about different places around the world through a series of whimsically illustrated interactive postcards.

Using a mix and match style of gameplay, players match up a series of tiles that come together to form postcard, which features a scene from a different location across the earthlike Nairobi, Munich, Tokyoor CuscoOnce all the pieces of the postcard are matched up and the scene is complete, kids can then roll over the image to hear fun facts about the chosen location. For example, players can travel to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to learn about Carnival or head to Beijing in China to find out about local traditions and customs, like the Lunar Festival.

Once a postcard is complete it can then be saved or printed and shared with family and friends.

We are thrilled that Luna’s Postcards Around the World has launched!  Our latest game gives kids the opportunity to visit new places and learn about different parts of the globe with Luna from their homes, in a time where travel has not been possible.  We’re also offering aexciting new spin on the matching game mechanic, where kids can engage in the curriculum and make meaningful connections to each place they visit, using a fun and familiar style of play!
