We’re thrilled to share that ‘Rosie’s Rules’ has been named the winner of the Imagen Award for Best Youth Programming at the 41st Annual Imagen Awards.
Presented by the Imagen Foundation, the awards recognize excellence in Latino film, television, and streaming while celebrating authentic and meaningful portrayals of the Latino community. Held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, this year’s ceremony presented 33 awards and brought together established and emerging Latino talent from across the entertainment industry, honoring artists, performers, filmmakers, producers, and storytellers whose work reflects the richness and diversity of Latino experiences.
Representing the series at the ceremony were Rosie’s Rules team member Maria Escobedo and writer Jesenia Ruiz, who accepted the award for Best Youth Programming on behalf of the team. This recognition is a testament to the talented cast and crew behind Rosie’s Rules and the series’ commitment to authentic storytelling that celebrates Latino family, culture, and community.
Rosie’s Rules is a series that follows the many adventures of Rosie Fuentes, a hilarious and curious 5-year-old Mexican-American girl who is figuring out how the world around her works. The show focuses on her multicultural blended family who support Rosie as she learns new things and shares the “rules” about life she’s discovering along the way. Rosie’s Rules is produced by 9 Story Media Group and animated by the award-winning animation studio Brown Bag Films – Toronto. Rosie’s Rules was created and executive produced by Emmy® Award-winning writer and author Jennifer Hamburg (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Super Why!, Pinkalicious & Peterrific, Cyberchase, Doc McStuffins), also executive producing is TV veteran Mariana Diaz-Wionczek P.h.D (Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, Santiago of the Seas).
We would like to extend a WOWMAZING congratulations to the entire Rosie’s Rules cast, crew and partners at PBS KIDS on this incredible achievement. Congratulations as well to all of this year’s Imagen honourees, whose work continues to advance authentic representation and outstanding storytelling across the entertainment industry. Thank you to the Imagen Foundation and the Imagen Awards organizers for this meaningful recognition.
