We’re thrilled to share that Season 2 of Rosie’s Rules (50 x 11 min) is officially streaming on PBS KIDS! The beloved animated series is back with new episodes that continue to follow the adventures of Rosie Fuentes, a curious and hilarious 5-year-old Mexican-American girl who’s figuring out how the world works—one “Rosie’s Rule” at a time.
The first ten 11-minute episodes premiere today on the PBS KIDS Video app, connected TV devices, and pbskids.org. Starting today, they will also air on the PBS KIDS broadcast channel, rolling out Monday through Thursday this week.
Rosie’s Rules is a series that follows the many adventures of Rosie Fuentes, a hilarious and curious 5-year-old Mexican-American girl who is figuring out how the world around her works. The show focuses on her multicultural blended family who support Rosie as she learns new things and shares the “rules” about life she’s discovering along the way.
In Season 2, Rosie’s endless curiosity leads to new and astute discoveries, including “playing pretend can help you understand what something will be like” for when her brother, Iggy, is nervous about going to the doctor, and “being different ages means you’re able to do different things,” for when Rosie tries to make a movie with her siblings. These relatable moments are designed to help kids ages 3–6 explore their own communities and family dynamics.
Rosie’s Rules is produced by 9 Story Media Group and animated by the award-winning animation studio Brown Bag Films – Toronto. It was created by Emmy® Award-winning writer and author Jennifer Hamburg (Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go!, Santiago of the Seas), with Maria Escobedo (Grey’s Anatomy, Elena of Avalor, Nina’s World) acting as Story Editor. The series is directed by Brown Bag Films director Heejung Yun.
