Toronto, Canada – March 4, 2019 – 9 Story Media Group is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Peacock Alley Entertainment to develop and co-produce MOTEL 51, a serialized science fiction drama geared towards a young adult and family audience.  The announcement follows 9 Story’s recent launch of a new live action division led by Jeremy Slutskin.

Written and created by Laura Kosterski (Producing Parker, Big Top Academy, Annedroids, Naked Josh), the series will be executive produced by Brad Wright (Travelers, Stargate), Carrie Mudd (Travelers, Sanctuary), Vince Commisso (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Wild Kratts, The Magic School Bus Rides Again) and Natalie Osborne (Angela’s Christmas, Almost Naked Animals, Harriet The Spy: Blog Wars).

MOTEL 51 follows the Williamson family, as they embark on a desperate quest to find their father when he mysteriously vanishes. The search will lead them to an oddball motel with an otherworldly secret.
